Hand Bound Books
Pen & Hand's books are all made from scratch starting with a few large sheets of paper that are folded/cut, hand sewn and covered in a variety of ways. The examples below are Square-back, Post-bound, Coptic Stitch and Japanese Stab Bound. These hand bound books are great for a variety of uses such as albums, sketchbooks, guestbooks, journals, or notebooks.
Square-back books - great for journals, sketchbooks, and notebooks.
Post-bound books - great for journals, photo albums, and scrapbooks.
Coptic Stitch Books - My favorite binding! Great for guestbooks and photo albums because they lay flat. Exposed spine is a nice design feature.
Japanese Stab-binding - great for every day notebooks and decorative sketchbooks
